Settler's Beach

Settlers Beach is a horseshoe of 22, 2 bedroom cottages spread out over 4 acres of landscaped gardens that look out over its beach to the tranquil west coast Caribbean sea in the Parish of St James. The Cottages offer a Villa style holiday but managed in a Hotel style. Located adjacent to the Sandpiper Hotel and just conveniently close to Holetown with its shops, restaurants and bars.

It appeals to a broad section of guests looking for tranquility and informality and has always been very popular with families who appreciate the spacious accommodation and extensive grounds. Friendly, efficient staff offer you a warm welcome and take care of all your needs, giving you time to enjoy the sun on a beautiful sandy beach, participate in water sports in and under the ocean, or relax on the terrace surrounding the freshwater swimming pool.

Each Cottage Villa has two air conditioned bedrooms fitted with hairdryers, clock radios and personal safes as well as en-suite bathrooms. The living and dining areas are spacious and the kitchens well equipped.The villas come in two styles: single storey with a central patio/atrium or two-storey with an upper level balcony. There is also a one-bedroom, self-contained apartment with a balcony. The emphasis at Settlers Beach is on peace and tranquility. The 22 villas are set far enough apart to ensure privacy and comfort, yet close enough to be neighbourly.

Spago restaurant is an Italian restaurant offering an array of dishes including meats, seafood, fish, vegetraian, pasta and pizzas and has a picturesque location overlooking the crescent-shaped beach is a perfect setting for the imaginative cuisine prepared. Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The weekly manager's cocktail party provides guests with the perfect opportunity to meet fellow guests and management at sunset The large freshwater swimming pool surrounded by terraces and swaying palms provides a perfect place to relax with a good book.

Water sports are available from the beach and swimming lessons can be arranged in the pool with our own "in-house" instructor Guests staying with us can use the tennis facilities at the Sugar Hill Club

All guests may use the gym facilities complimentary at the J&S Health, Fitness and Sports Acadamy that is located just 7 minutes in a taxi from the hotel. Golf is only a 5 minute drive from Settlers Beach at Royal Westmoreland or Sandy Lane. There is an air-conditioned television lounge is located next to the restaurant and is accessible to all in house guests. A wide variety of In-Villa Spa treatments are available to book.
